SPAY & NEUTER / FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE
If we are ever to stop pet overpopulation, animal suffering and euthenasia, we need to address the root of the problem through a vibrant, community-driven, collaborative spay/neuter voucher program.
Preventing the births of unwanted cats and dogs costs less money per animal over the long run than paying to catch, transport, shelter, and care for unwanted animals - who, all too often, will eventually be euthanized.
And, stray animals suffer. Period. From disease, abuse, hunger, homelessness, cold, heat, neglect and more, struggling is a daily part of their life. LET'S FIX THE PROBLEM!!!

The OuterBanks is a place people flock to experience nature at its best including our beaches, wildlife and marine animals. So we better take care of it.
The bottom line is that wildlife and marine life is injured quite often from plastic garbage, fishing hooks, lines, and nets, traffic, boating, and the clearing of trees for construction and more.
That's where OWLS comes in. We help injured animals ... from Pelicans and Seagulls to Possums and Rabbits to Turtles and Snakes...and everything in between. We get them healthy again and release them back into the wild.
BUT EDUCATION IS KEY...IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE OF THEIR SURROUNDINGS AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO RESPECT AND TAKE CARE OF ALL OUR ANIMALS AND MARINE LIFE.
DID YOU KNOW ANIMALS AND MARINE LIFE ensure the survival of various species that play critical roles in the food chain, ultimately benefiting human well-being and the planet as a whole.
Hard to look at but its reality and we are responsible.
