We must sit back and wonder how in today's day and age we are not more progressive in our approach to animal rescue and suffering. Shelters should be a temporary haven for homeless animals and NOT A PLACE TO DUMP UNWANTED PUPPIES AND KITTENS AND BACKYARD BREEDERS' REJECTS. Overpopulation and euthanasia have become the norm and is unacceptable in today's day and age. We CAN get to the root of the problem through a unitifed SPAY & NEUTER program as well as through enriched sheltering and education.
