ABOUT RESCUEFUND
OUR ROOTS
RescueFund was launched in the Spring of 2024 with a mission to reduce animal suffering by broadening the fundraising pool for local shelters in Carteret County. We succeeded and in our first year raised over $30,000 for the Carteret County Humane Society.
However, we soon realized how quickly the funds were being depleted given the cost of food, medical, employees and building maintenance. It became clear that constantly raising money for shelters could go on forever and ever. We needed to get to the root of the problem...pet overpopulation and the suffering of unwanted animals.
We strive to make fixing an animal easy and affordable to all, and to educate as many people we can along the way.

Our growing team has a depth of professional, non-profit and volunteering experience making the foundation of RescueFund solid, realistic, and forward-thinking.
We are out-of-box thinkers, innovators, and solutionists with successful business backgrounds and experience to drive funding and education forward. Not to mention, our love of animals and creating a better world for them.
